TECHNICAL SUPPORT CAREERS AT SCIMAGE
ScImage, a leading developer of web based medical image and information
management systems is a fast growing company located in the San Francisco
Bay area. We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Specialist
to provide prompt, efficient, and courteous technical support to hospitals
and medical imaging centers. This position is located at our headquarters
in Los Altos, California. Your contributions to our organization will

Duties and Responsibilities
• Works effectively and efficiently to resolve customer issues
• Evaluate call severity and escalate to 2nd tier technical support
• Pro-actively improves technical skills and product knowledge
• Maintain appropriate databases and history log files
• Able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Primary Requirements
• AA degree in a technical field such as Bioinformatics, Information
Technology, or Computer Science. A BS/BA degree is preferred
• Windows-based PCs and Server expertise
• Basic Networking troubleshooting skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, pleasant personality
and friendly phone voice
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Must be able to multi-task and keep extensive written records of all
customer interaction
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Data base experience, especially MS Access. MS SQL Server experience
a plus
Other Details
• Must be able to lift PCs (~40 lbs)
• Working hours 6:00am to 3:00pm, 7:00am to 4:00pm, or 8:30am to 5:30pm
(Pacific Time)
