PicomECG is a complete ECG Management system, scalable from an office setting to an Integrated Delivery Network. With a flexible core design that can be deployed as a dedicated ECG Management system, or built into our PICOM365 server or our cloud based system as a software service.

PicomECG offers the most flexible feature set allowing anywhere reading with bi-directional data exchange. Workflow automation and investigational tools are all designed to help you read ECG’s as accurately and quickly as possible.

ScImage provides an array of technologies to capture raw ECG waveforms and data directly from most electrocardiographs on the market today. And with ScImage’s demonstrated commitment toward implementing industry standards like XML, DICOM and SCP ECG’s, you’ll enjoy a future-proof ECG Management solution.

In order to drive the acquisition and reporting process in the most efficient manner, ScImage provides interface solutions to capture HL7 orders on the front end, translate the order to DICOM Modality Worklist and forward the order to the device; then reverse the communication chain with the completed HL7 Results; followed by an EMR link with zero-footprint ECG review of the confirmed ECG.

PicomECG offers flexible workflow options to accommodate the expectations and needs of a diverse process.

Different settings demand different processes. That’s why we’ve designed PicomECG with flexible workflow tools.

Paper-based record keeping requires intelligent auto-printing and post process editing of the confirmed record. For those who prefer a self-reporting approach, we’ve included configurable tools and processes for complete online reading. For those in between, there’s a means of editing ECG’s with subsequent batch processing. No matter what your preferred process is, PicomECG works for you.

Included in PicomECG are all of the tools essential to the investigation and interpretation of the cardiogram’s rate, rhythm and axis. Plus, your database of interpretive statements is both, customizable and fully portable. PicomECG is truly the same, wherever your work takes you.


Distribution

PicomECG can provide an efficient and automated delivery mechanism to distribute the confirmed ECG report to stakeholders and ancillary systems.

Part of the process of reading an ECG lies in the responsibility to deliver a final report to the ordering physician or entity. PicomECG can be configured to include a powerful report delivery engine that automatically sends a copy of the confirmed ECG to the ordering physician of record.

Concurrently, the ECG results can be forwarded via HL7 to a hospital information system or practice management system for historical record keeping and billing notification. Additionally, an encrypted link can be forwarded to your Electronic Medical Record system to provide distributed access to the confirmed ECG.

And with our available universal viewing tool, PicomWEB, you can provide secure, distributed access to your EMR clients, with interactive waveforms for diagnostic review from virtually any web-enabled, portable device.
