SCIMAGE AND SOURCE MEDICAL FORGE PARTNERSHIP FOR INTEGRATED WEB-BASED
RIS / PACS SOLUTION
Companies join forces to offer affordable RIS/PACS solution for outpatient
diagnostic imaging centers
Los Altos, CA and Birmingham, AL - November 14, 2005 - ScImage, a leading
enterprise imaging and information management company and Source Medical

today announced a strategic partnership to provide an integrated RIS/PACS
solution specifically designed for outpatient imaging centers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Source Medical's native Web-based radiology
information system known as SourceRad™ will be extended to include ScImage's
award winning PicomEnterprise™ PACS functionality, including online archiving
and disaster recovery services. The tightly integrated solution will provide
imaging centers with an end-to-end managed work flow solution on an affordable
basis with low upfront costs. The system will run on existing Windows-based
PCs with Internet access, requiring little or no onsite IT personnel.
The addition of PACS functionality to SourceRad™ further increases the
scope of services imaging centers will have access to in a single, integrated
solution.
