MENNEN MEDICAL AND SCIMAGE ANNOUNCE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
Combined Hemodynamic and Cath Lab Imaging Solution Offers Industry-Leading Features
March 8, Orlando, FL--Mennen Medical Corp., the advanced hemodynamic monitoring manufacturer, and ScImage, Inc., The Enterprise PACS Company, announce at the Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology a business partnership for the integration and co-marketing of their cardiology products as a complete seamlessly integrated solution. The combined offering will deliver a range of innovative features including the live viewing of prior images during cath lab procedures as well as fully integrated multi-modality DICOM worklists.
Under the agreement, the two companies will both offer the new integrated digital hemodynamic multi-modality for sale throughout the U.S. Utilizing its broad-based trans-continental marketing infrastructure; Mennen will sell the integrated solution internationally under its own name.
The new agreement builds upon a strategic alliance initiated between the two industry leaders last year.
"This new relationship positions our companies together as a truly powerful force in the cath lab arena, capitalizing on the strengths of two longtime players with leading edge technologies and deep penetration into the cardiology market," said Nitsan Kessel, Chairman of Mennen Medical Corp. "With the synergy between our combined technologies makes the benefits of our integrated solution far greater than the sum of its two parts."
Commenting on the relationship, Sai P. Raya, Ph.D., CEO and founder of ScImage said, "Our product has always offered advanced image management, as well as comprehensive image interpretation tools. Now, with seamlessly integrated hemodynamic information, it becomes a truly comprehensive solution offering users efficient, cost-effective data management and reducing human error. The new relationship is a great fit because it capitalizes on our complementary strengths and offers our company a direct route into the international marketplace."
