SCIMAGE ADDS EVOLVED DIGITAL AS STRATEGIC OEM PARTNER
Los Altos, CA May 3, 2004 — ScImage, a leading provider of image and information management and distribution solutions and medical imaging workstations based in Los Altos, California, announced today that EVOLVED Digital Systems will market its PICOMEnterprise PACS solution under the View2 brand through an OEM (original equipment manufacture) agreement.
“By selecting PICOMEnterprise’s core technology, Evolved can now provide their customers with a single solution that can address the needs of both their cardiology and their radiology customer base while continuing to leverage their existing investment in their data center,” states Sai P. View2 PACS enables hospitals, imaging centers and physicians’ offices to capture X-rays, ultrasounds, CAT-scans and many other medical images in digital format rather than traditional film. Evolved integrates these digital files into a networked solution for physicians and caregivers and enables them to view images and patient data more rapidly. This improves the speed of diagnostics and patient care.
