SCIMAGE INKS AGREEMENT TO REPRESENT KONICA'S FULL LINE OF COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY PRODUCTS AND DRY LASER IMAGERS
LOS ALTOS, CA - July 7, 2003 - ScImage, a leading provider of image and information management and distribution solutions and medical imaging workstations based in Los Altos, California, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Konica Medical Imaging to represent Konica's Regius and Xpress CR products and DryPro Laser Imagers. The agreement authorizes ScImage to offer its customers in the Radiology PACS market Konica's leading edge computed radiography equipment and dry laser printers as part of a total PACS solution with their enterprise PACS product PICOMEnterprise.
According to Sai P. Raya, Founder and CEO of ScImage, "The Xpress CR and Regius lines are cost-effective, fast and elegant solutions for Radiology departments looking to make the leap to a filmless workflow. We believe that combining these products with our solution will give us the ability to provide a complete package for our customers. In establishing a reseller agreement with Konica Medical Imaging, we can now assist those customers who wish to go completely filmless by offering them a state-of-the-art computed radiography product."
