SCIMAGE SELECTED TO DELIVER ENTERPRISE IMAGE MANAGEMENT FOR BOTH CARDIOLOGY AND RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENTS AT FOUR SITES
Los Altos, CA February 4, 2003 - ScImage, a leading provider of image and information management and distribution solutions and medical imaging workstations based in Los Altos, California, announced today that its latest offering, PICOMEnterprise Version 1.3, has been selected to deliver enterprise image management for both cardiology and radiology departments at four sites.
El Camino Hospital (Mountain View, CA), St. Luke's (Chesterfield, MO), Freeman Health Systems (Joplin, MO) and Lake Regional Medical Center (Osage Beach, MO), have all recently either purchased or upgraded to PICOMEnterprise Version 1.3. Today both cardiology and radiology departments at these facilities can now manage patient images and associated clinical data using a common architecture.
The latest upgrade to PICOMEnterprise integrates 3D imaging tools, a full function PACS solution that includes tools for query, review and distribution of radiology images and information, customizable reporting solutions, telemedicine and disaster recovery with an already robust cardiology imaging solution designed by ScImage. The result is a comprehensive imaging solution with technology spreading from advanced clinical applications all the way to physician portals.
