Coronary Calcium Scoring

ScImage's Calcified Plaque Analysis software is recognized as being the gold standard for Coronary Calcium Scoring. This volumetric Calcified Plaque Analysis (CPA) module can be used with single and multi-slice CT scanners capable of sub-second partial acquisitions utilizing prospective, retrospective and non-gated acquisition.

ScImage's CPA module provides a fast and repeatable volumetric plaque detection tool for Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring. Image presentation has been carefully designed to visualize hardened plaque within the coronary arteries. The simple point and click methodology for identifying plaque keeps user interaction to an absolute minimum.

ScImage's CPA software uses a comprehensive database to determine percentile rankings based on age and gender to draw comparisons and conclusions regarding the patient's coronary health.

Completed reports, analysis, and study information can be stored using PicomEnterprise™ and archived with the original image data.
