Enterprise Solutions Specialist (Clinical Applications)
Two locations:
- Eastern U.S. (Eastern time zone preferred)

The Applications / Enterprise Solutions / Applications Specialist is responsible for coordinating and conducting applications training to end users, including PACS administrators. Contribute to the development and refinement of the field service department and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Ability to operate independently under diverse work situations with high degree of complexity.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform routine service, preventative maintenance and modifications on software and equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- During pre-sales process the candidate is partially responsible for assisting in sales presentations.
- Test, repair, and maintain medical software that works with capital equipment.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
- Conduct applications training to end users and PACS administrators.
- Perform necessary administrative duties as required.
- Act as the "go-to" person, during installations to bring people together and resolve any and all situations that may arise in situations where Field Project Specialist is not onsite.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documents (i.e. Field Maintenance Reports, Time and Expense Reports, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback on new and existing products and recommend changes and updates to improve products performance and reliability.
- Recommend changes to ScImage departments to improve efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, increase productivity, and reduce service costs.
- Operate in a manner consistent with company policies.
- May provide clinical support outside the assigned area.
- Assist other personnel in solving difficult clinical problems and resolving delicate customer related situations.
- Assist in training new Field Service personnel when needed.
Working Conditions
- Ability to operate independently under diverse work situations with a high degree of complexity.
- Frequent exposure to hospital environment
- Frequent travel
Minimum Qualifications:
Skills:
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Strong experience, 5+ years, in electronics and computer background a must
- Proficient in the use of tools and service equipment
- Strong background or desire to learn network medical imaging workflow
- Strong background in PACS/RIS implementation & Project Management products
- Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, HIS, RIS, EMR, PACS, etc.
- Clinical experience in related Radiology and Cardiology disciplines
- Previous 3D, MIP and MPR experience preferred.
- Understanding of the functional issues that relate to PC usage.
- Knowledge of MS Windows, NT, 2000, XP, Server 2003.
- Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Professional attitude and team player.
- Must be able to work both independently and in an established team setting.
- Must be willing to work different shifts and travel within the United States.
- Frequent travel required (70-90%).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Acceptable driving record
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering Major, or a minimum of five years radiology\cardiology experience.

The Field Project Specialist Provide prompt, efficient service for all ScImage products in assigned territory while representing the company in a positive and professional manner. Contribute to the development and refinement of the field service department and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Ability to operate independently under diverse work situations with a high degree of complexity.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- During the pre-sales process the candidate is partially responsible for the overall design of the solution.
- Provide detailed project management for all new installations within the assigned territory. To include but not limited to: data flow and network design, workflow analysis to include DICOM/HL7 design and implementation.
- Provide customer training on system operation and assist with application training to physicians.
- Act as the "go-to" person, during installations to bring people together and resolve any and all situations that may arise.
- Provide field technical support and training to customers and sales department on ScImage products, commensurate with training and experience.
- Maintain and update all hardware and software as required.
- Install systems and implement engineering field changes.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relations and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documents (i.e. Field Maintenance Reports, Time and Expense Reports, etc.) in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
Skills
- Thorough working knowledge of current Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and SQL Server.
- Thorough working knowledge within the field of enterprise PACS.
- Must have experience in IT and networking.
- Good understanding of DICOM, HL7, and ALL modalities within radiology and cardiology is required.
- Must be familiar with different types of HIS, RIS and PMS (Practice Management System) products.
- Must be able to talk about IT and infrastructure at the C-level.
- Thorough working knowledge of all network topologies and protocols.
- Experience installing and maintaining networks.
- At the department level, must be able to intelligently talk about viewing technology to include physician workflow, hanging protocols etc.
- Ability to represent ScImage in a positive, professional manner, which includes effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Education
- Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of five years medical electronic field experience.

Position Summary: We seek an energetic, experienced healthcare clinical IT solutions sales professional to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers by means of a consultative selling process in order to maximize sales of the company’s medical imaging software products and/or services.
The Area Sales Manager will optimally configure ScImage solutions to hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, and other non-hospital healthcare organizations including the possibility of custom engineering services. This position will serve as the primary account manager for all customers with a designated territory.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for New Business Development via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing
- Demonstrate and explain ScImage software solutions / services and products at a basic and intermediate level
- Sell a full range of medical imaging software products and services
- Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
- Provide a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
- Conducts one-on-one and group sales presentations
- Provides primary account management within existing territory
- Responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports
- Must be self-directed and able to operate independently to close new business
- Develop and maintain prospect and customer list utilizing strategic marketing data and other lead sources within company’s CRM system
Minimum Qualifications
Skills:
- Clinical solutions-selling experience in software or other technical product
- Familiar with a variety of the medical imaging field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization
- Ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently or within a team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the PACS or medical imaging field or in a related area.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) business, marketing and sales or related field of study
