Project Management

Reports to Director, Technical Operations

Position Summary

The Project Manager provides PACS pre-installation site assessment, implementation planning and installation guidance. A key responsibility is communication among various ScImage functional groups (sales, technical support and field support), end users, outside vendors and all other service and administrative groups involved in the order through acceptance process.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with sales and installation teams to determine project scope.
  • Assure technical accuracy of the order, validate system configuration.
  • Generate site implementation plan.
  • Lead or participate in customer planning sessions for network configuration design and deployment strategy.
  • Assist customer in workflow assessment and implementation of site specific solutions.
  • Schedule and facilitate PACS installation.
  • Develop relationship and communication channels to ensure status feedback and cooperation for all parties involved.
  • Take ownership and coordinate all aspects of the installation process from receipt of PO to the system acceptance by the customer.
  • Creation, dissemination, updating of site documentation including implementation plans, site drawings, system diagrams, equipment configuration and location, schedules, test and acceptance documents, etc.
  • Maintain close contact with customers, Field Reps, Application Specialists and Sales Representatives throughout the life of the project.
  • Provide system failure reports and system enhancement requests to the Product Development team.

Minimum Qualifications

Skills

  • Proven track record in implementation and support of HL7 and DICOM interfaces.
  • Strong background or desire to learn Radiology/Cardiology workflow, such as HIS (Hospital Information System)/RIS (Radiology Information Systems) and PACS, as related to the ScImage Enterprise product lines.
  • Experience in support of high-end server platforms desired.
  • Experience in support of WAN/LAN desired.
  • Experience in support of high-end storage devices desired.
  • Experience with web based applications desired.
  • Must be a self-motivated worker who sets high targets and exhibits a results oriented ownership of ScImage solutions.
  • Capable of keeping the organization informed about progress through ongoing, timely documentation of challenges and progress in our tracking system.

Education

  • BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience in PACS technical or implementation support.

Field Project Specialist

Reports to Field Operations Manager

Position Summary

Provide prompt, efficient service for all ScImage products in assigned territory while representing the company in a positive and professional manner. Contribute to the development and refinement of the field service department and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Ability to operate independently under diverse work situations with a high degree of complexity.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Install systems and implement engineering field changes as directed by ScImage Project Managers
  • Support ScImage Project Management in all new installations within the assigned territory. To include but not limited to: data flow and network design, workflow analysis to include DICOM/HL7 design and implementation.
  • Act as the “go-to” person, during installations to bring people together and resolve all situations that may arise.
  • Maintain and update all hardware and software as required
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relations and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and complete required reports and documents (i.e. Field Maintenance Reports, Teamwork completed tasks, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Provide field technical support and training to customers and sales department on ScImage products, commensurate with training and experience.
  • During the pre-sales process, you may be involved in the development for the overall design of the solution
  • Provide feedback on new and existing products and recommend changes and updates to improve products performance and reliability.
  • Recommend changes to ScImage departments to improve efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, increase productivity, and reduce service costs.
  • May provide technical support outside assigned area
  • Assist less senior personnel in solving difficult technical problems and resolving delicate customer related situations.
  • Assist in training new Field Service Engineers when needed
  • Operate in a manner consistent with company policies

Enterprise Solutions Specialist

Reports to Field Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Applications/Enterprise Solutions Specialist is responsible for coordinating and conducting applications training to end users, including PACS administrators. Provide sales support along with assisting in the implementation of ScImage software at a client’s facility.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct applications training to Physicians, Technicians and PACS administrators
  • Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and Software effectiveness.
  • Organize training procedure manuals, course materials to effectively train end users.
  • Support ScImage Project Management in all new installations within the assigned territory. To include but not limited to: data flow and workflow analysis to include DICOM/HL7 design and implementation.
  • Perform routine service, preventative maintenance and modifications on software and equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
  • Prepare and complete required reports and documents (i.e. Field Maintenance Reports, Teamwork completed tasks, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • During the pre-sales process, you may be involved in the development for the overall design of the solution
  • Work with Sales when required to perform remote or onsite demos.
  • Assist in training new Enterprise Solutions Specialist when needed
  • Operate in a manner consistent with company policies

  • Ability to operate independently under diverse work situations with a high degree of complexity.
  • Frequent exposure to hospital environment

Minimum Qualifications

Skills

  • 5 plus years of experience in Radiology and Cardiology disciplines, or 2 plus years supporting / implementing related Clinical Imaging software in a Hospital environment.
  • Previous 3D, MIP and MPR experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, HIS, RIS, EMR, PACS, etc.
  • Over one year as a trainer or analyst for clinical imaging software preferred.
  • Strong background or desire to learn all medical imaging workflows
  • Strong background in PACS implementation
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Professional attitude with strong customer relationship skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Must be able to work both independently and in an established team setting
  • Frequent travel required up to 50% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Education

  • B.S. in Medical Imaging / Imaging Informatics / IT and CIIP & A.S. in clinical field preferred.

Location

  • This position is located in Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky and Ohio.
